At Buff Brain Gym, we discuss these pressing issues and learn together how we can make a difference for ourselves and others. According to the Amen Clinics, a modernized mental health clinic that makes a diagnosis based on a brain SPECT scan, 80% of mental health diagnoses today are wrong. Our current diagnostic method for mental health is to make assumptions based on symptoms instead of to look at the brain and get to the root cause. Instead, after a symptom assessment, we’re given a short-term, quick fix like medication that will keep us coming back. Most doctors and psychiatrists are not providing long-term health solutions.
